A gorgeous antique English majolica plate in the most extraordinary deep green glaze, beautifully molded with overlapping strawberry leaves, berries, blossoms, grape clusters, and curling vine detail. The dimensional botanical relief gives the piece incredible texture and presence, while the rich tonal variations and age-related crazing add exactly the kind of depth and character collectors love in antique majolica. Displayed upright on a brass stand, this piece has that perfect English country house feeling — lush, collected, and wonderfully decorative.

CONDITION
Beautiful antique condition with minor tonal variations and crazing present throughout, consistent with age and material. One repaired chip is present on the right-hand side, primarily visible from the back. There is also a small tip at the top, also primarily visible from the back. These condition notes do not detract from display, and the plate still presents absolutely beautifully from the front.

9"L x 9.5"W x 1.5"H/D

PROVENANCE
Antique English majolica, likely late 19th to early 20th century.

Glazed majolica earthenware.

WHY WE LOVE THIS
The color is the moment. That saturated green glaze, combined with the raised strawberry leaf and vine motif, makes this piece feel instantly layered, old-world, and collected. It is the kind of antique that brings depth to a shelf, hutch, bar, kitchen, or tabletop without feeling overly precious.

STYLING SUGGESTIONS
Display upright on an antique brass stand, layered into a hutch, on a console with leather-bound books, or in an English country kitchen with copper, ironstone, and garden florals. It would also be stunning mixed into a plate wall or styled as a single statement piece in a Ralph Lauren-inspired vignette.
