A wonderfully atmospheric antique English fox-hunting textured print titled “Tally Ho!” and dating to approximately 1910. The spirited scene depicts a scarlet-coated huntsman sounding his horn from horseback as hounds gather below and riders follow through the wooded countryside.

The petite print is housed beneath glass in a hand-painted black wooden frame with warm gilt detailing. A mirror-black mat and fine double-gilt inlay create a beautifully layered presentation, giving this small piece considerably more presence than its scale might suggest. Ready to hang or display upon a tabletop easel or decorative stand.

CONDITION
Beautiful antique condition with gentle age-related wear to the painted and gilt frame consistent with its history. Minor surface variations and patina contribute to its authentic character. The print remains vivid and displays beautifully beneath glass.

WHY WE LOVE THIS
The jewel-box framing makes this so much more special than an ordinary hunting print. Its rich black-and-gilt presentation, petite proportions and classic sporting subject make it perfect for layering into a gallery wall, library bookshelf or equestrian vignette.
