Excellent antique condition. No cracks, chips, fleabites, or scuffs. The hand-painted fox hunting scene remains vivid and intact with no paint loss. The red rim is beautifully preserved with only minimal, age-appropriate fading. One tiny manufacturing bubble is present in the glass (visible in the final photo) — a normal characteristic of early glassmaking and not a flaw.

WHY WE LOVE THIS
This is a hard-to-find example of an antique fox hunt highball — far scarcer than the more commonly seen tumblers or cordial glasses. The composition is wonderfully animated: riders in classic red hunt coats, leaping horses, and hounds in full chase across a sweeping green landscape. It feels cinematic, nostalgic, and distinctly English.
It’s the kind of piece that elevates a bar cart, library shelf, or fireside table instantly — a quiet nod to tradition, sport, and refined country living. Whether used for a proper gin and tonic or simply displayed, it brings charm, history, and conversation with it.
