A wonderfully substantial vintage metal trophy-form urn with the kind of timeworn character that makes a room instantly feel collected. Measuring an impressive 11.5" high by 13" wide, the piece has a tall tapered body, raised banding, a pedestal foot, and especially beautiful sweeping handles detailed with foliate and berry-like motifs.
The naturally aged silver-tone finish has developed layers of tarnish, oxidation, surface variation, and wear that give the piece an almost old sporting-club trophy appearance. Its generous scale makes it particularly versatile: use it as a dramatic vessel for branches or seasonal florals, fill it with ice to chill a bottle of champagne, or allow it to stand alone on a bar, console, or dining table.
CONDITION
Good vintage condition with considerable age-related patina, tarnish, oxidation, scratching, and surface wear throughout. These characteristics are part of its wonderfully timeworn appearance rather than a pristine polished finish.
SIZE
Approximately 11.5"H × 13"W including handles.
MATERIAL
Silver-tone metal.
STYLING SUGGESTIONS
Fill it with deep green magnolia, preserved hydrangea, eucalyptus, berries, and autumn foliage for a dramatic seasonal arrangement, or use it as an oversized champagne cooler layered with ice and a favorite bottle. Particularly handsome in an equestrian library, hunt-country dining room, sophisticated bar, or Ralph Lauren-inspired entertaining setup.
