WHY WE LOVE THIS
This exquisite little porcelain box captures the romance and tradition of the European hunt — riders in scarlet coats, hounds in full cry, and horses in elegant motion across a rolling green landscape. The scale is intimate and charming, but the artistry is unmistakably refined.
The “Parforce” pattern is a direct reference to parforce hunting, the highly formalized mounted hunt tradition of 18th–19th century Europe, making this not just a decorative object, but a cultural vignette. It feels at home on a writing desk, vanity, or bedside table — a place to hold jewelry, cufflinks, or small personal treasures — and it pairs beautifully with an English country, equestrian, or Ralph Lauren–inspired interior.
It is the kind of piece that doesn’t shout — it simply belongs.
