Antique Library Vignette Set with Silver Tray, Brass Field Binoculars & Book of Poetry

A wonderfully collected antique vignette that feels straight out of an old English sporting library. This three-piece set brings together a petite Towle silver tray, a beautifully timeworn pair of functional antique field glasses, and a small antique volume of poetry by Robert Burns.

The Towle tray measures 7"L x 6"W and features an elegant shaped edge with the softly aged surface and patina that make vintage silver so appealing.

The antique field glasses are the standout of the collection. Constructed in a classic early binocular form with dark aged surfaces, exposed warm metal and a central focusing mechanism, they have the wonderfully worn character associated with genuine sporting and travel pieces of the period. Unlike purely decorative examples, these remain functional and can still be focused and used. Their untouched patina gives them exceptional presence and makes them particularly fitting for an equestrian, sporting or library setting.

Completing the vignette is a petite antique book of poems by Robert Burns. Its faded green binding, worn edges and aged pages add another layer of authentic old-library character to the collection.

The field glasses retain significant original patina and are functional. The Burns volume shows expected wear to the binding, edges and pages. The Towle tray displays surface scratching and age-related patina. These characteristics are part of the set’s authentic antique appeal.
