A beautifully ornate antique silverplate open sugar bowl or bonbon dish featuring deeply embossed floral and foliate decoration, a scalloped rim, dramatic scrolling handles, and four petite shell-form feet. The diminutive scale gives the piece an especially charming presence, while the elaborate Rococo Revival detailing makes it feel far more substantial than its size suggests. A lovely decorative object for a collected bar, tea table, vanity, or layered tabletop vignette.

CONDITION
Good antique condition with age-appropriate surface wear, patina, and minor signs of use consistent with age. These variations contribute to the character of the piece.

SIZE
5.5"L x 2.5"W x 2.2"H - beautifully weighted for its size.

PROVENANCE
Antique or early vintage, likely dating to approximately the late 19th to early 20th century.

MATERIAL
Silverplate metal.

STYLING SUGGESTION
Style it as a petite catchall on an entry console, fill it with wrapped chocolates or nuts on a bar, or layer it among antique books, framed equestrian photographs, and other silver objects for a richly collected English-country look. Its small scale also makes it especially good for adding a bit of shine without overwhelming a vignette.
