An extraordinary after-dinner service composed of seven brilliantly cut crystal cordial glasses, attributed to Saint-Louis in the celebrated Florence pattern, presented with an elaborately chased Barker Ellis English silverplate gallery tray.
The glasses are spectacular. Each petite stem is cut with the distinctive Florence arrangement of soaring pineapple-style fans, intersecting diamonds and deeply faceted detailing that catches and refracts the light from every angle. Elegant knopped stems and radiating feet complete the silhouette, giving these diminutive cordials the presence of far grander stemware. Whether filled with port, cognac, liqueur or simply displayed beneath the lights of a beautifully appointed bar, they positively glitter.
Their companion tray is equally impressive. Made in England by Barker Ellis, the petite gallery tray is richly worked with dense floral repoussé, sweeping acanthus scrolls and an open central cartouche, all framed by a pierced gallery border. Its scale is unusually well suited to the seven glasses, creating the appearance of a purpose-composed service rather than a later decorative pairing.
Together, the French crystal and English silverplate create the sort of deeply collected entertaining piece one expects to encounter in a private club, an impeccably dressed library bar or the drinks room of a storied country house. It is unapologetically glamorous, beautifully useful and nearly impossible to overlook.

WHY WE LOVE THIS
Because even the smallest pour deserves a sense of occasion. The brilliance of the crystal against the deeply ornamented English silverplate is absolutely spectacular—formal without feeling fussy, collectible without being untouchable and glamorous enough to transform an entire bar vignette. This is not merely stemware placed upon a tray; it is a complete entertaining moment, already composed and ready to become the centerpiece of a very well-appointed home.
