A striking vintage silverplate lidded trophy urn with beautifully balanced Neoclassical proportions and a distinctly English country-house presence. The vessel features a softly polished upper body above dramatic vertical fluting, elegant upswept double handles, a slender pedestal stem, and a substantial square plinth base. A fitted low-profile lid completes the classical silhouette.

Modeled after Georgian and Regency trophy cups and covered loving cups, this piece has wonderful decorative scale without feeling oversized. Its unengraved surface gives it a particularly versatile look, allowing the sculptural form and aged silver finish to take center stage. The underside is finished in navy blue velvet, further suggesting its intended use as a decorative object or presentation piece rather than traditional serving ware.

CONDITION
Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear, light scratching, and subtle variation to the silverplate consistent with age and use. These characteristics contribute beautifully to its collected appearance. Please review photographs closely for condition and patina.

SIZE
Approximately 12.5"H × 10.5"W × 7.5"D.

MATERIAL
Silverplate with navy velvet-covered underside.

STYLING SUGGESTIONS
An exceptional statement piece for an English country, equestrian, or traditionally layered interior. Display it closed on a library table, bar, mantel, or console alongside antique books, sporting art, and dark green preserved boxwood. With the lid removed, it would also make a handsome vessel for a restrained floral arrangement or seasonal greenery. Its trophy form makes it especially well suited to a hunt-club-inspired library, equestrian tack room, or Ralph Lauren-style collected interior.
