Large c.1910 Antique Silver Loving Cup Lawn Tennis Club Trophy

A spectacular early 20th-century tennis trophy cup dating to 1910, beautifully engraved for an Open Mixed Doubles competition. Substantial in both scale and presence, the cup features an elegant urn-shaped body, dramatically scrolling twin handles and a raised pedestal base.

More than a century of natural patina and surface character give the silverplate a wonderfully storied appearance, while the original hand-engraved inscription preserves its connection to the golden age of country-club tennis. CONDITION
Beautiful antique condition with age-appropriate patina, surface scratches, spotting and areas of wear to the silverplate. The original engraving remains visible. We have intentionally preserved its authentic character rather than over-polishing the surface.
