A beautifully decorative Mason’s Patent Ironstone China tureen in the beloved Vista pattern, made in England. This substantial pink / red transferware piece features the classic Vista scenic landscape with a romantic manor house view, trees, figures, and richly detailed borderwork in a soft rose-red palette.
Generously scaled at approximately 14"W x 10"D x 10"H, this piece has wonderful presence and would be especially striking styled as a cachepot, fern planter, floral vessel, or centerpiece. The form is elegant and architectural, with side handles, a shaped rim, and a footed base that gives it the collected English country look so loved in layered traditional interiors.
The underside is stamped Masons Patent Ironstone China Vista England and also bears additional impressed factory marks, including what appears to be 350 H and an M or W.
CONDITION
Antique / vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and character. There is a 1" chip on one side of the base beneath the handle, as well as a professional repair to the rim.
