CONDITION
Beautiful vintage condition overall. Each cup and saucer presents exceptionally well, with rich hand-painted detail and luminous porcelain. One saucer has a flea-sized abrasion to the rim, and one cup has a flea-sized chip to the rim along with a very minor craze mark. These imperfections are nearly indistinguishable to the naked eye and do not detract from the overall elegance, display quality, or usability of the set.

WHY WE LOVE THIS
This is a truly special and increasingly hard-to-find set. Each cup features a distinct hand-painted horse portrait, rendered with remarkable expression and character — no two are alike. The artistry speaks directly to classic equestrian heritage, making this set equally at home in a formal tea service, an English country vitrine, or styled on open shelving in a well-appointed kitchen or butler’s pantry. Signed examples with complete matching saucers are particularly desirable, and the cohesive yet varied portraits elevate this from a simple service to a collector-worthy display set.
STYLING SUGGESTION
Style these cups and saucers layered on a dark wood sideboard, library shelf, or china hutch alongside leather-bound books, antique silver, and framed equestrian prints. They also make an unforgettable tablescape moment for an intimate luncheon or Derby-inspired gathering.
