Vintage 1976 Devon Horse Show Award Ribbon | Equestrian Rosette Memorabilia

A wonderful piece of American equestrian history from the iconic Devon Horse Show, this authentic vintage award ribbon dates to 1976. Measuring approximately 11" long, the ribbon features a beautifully layered dusty-rose pink satin rosette centered by its original metal Devon Horse Show medallion, depicting a horse in relief and marked with the historic show insignia.

Long satin streamers fall beneath the rosette, including a striking red, ivory and blue center ribbon with “1976” printed vertically in gold. The combination of softly faded pink satin, patriotic striping and aged metal gives this piece exactly the collected, storied character we love in vintage sporting memorabilia.

Devon is one of the most recognizable names in American horse-show history, making an identified ribbon from the show considerably more interesting than an anonymous vintage competition ribbon. CONDITION
Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate soft creasing, light wrinkling and minor wear to the satin consistent with a nearly 50-year-old show ribbon. The metal medallion retains a wonderful aged patina.
