A striking and historically rich vintage British cigarette case, presented in its original Collingwood of London leather and satin box. This beautifully scaled piece features a finely engine-turned exterior adorned with the royal cipher of King George V—an elegant crowned “GR” monogram symbolizing Georgius Rex.

Originally retailed by Collingwood (Jewellers) Ltd., a distinguished London jeweler “By Appointment to the Late King George V,” this piece reflects the refined craftsmanship and royal-adjacent heritage of early 20th century England.

The case retains its original presentation band inscribed “Sergt. Arnott,” suggesting it was gifted to a British Army sergeant—likely as a token of service, recognition, or retirement during the World War I to interwar period.

A sophisticated and storied object that blends military history, royal symbolism, and classic English design—perfect for collectors or as a statement accessory in a refined interior.

DIMENSIONS
2.5” L x 2” W

CONDITION
Beautiful vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Light surface patina and wear to the exterior consistent with age and use. Interior shows warm gold-toned wash with minor wear. Presentation box shows wear to leather exterior and interior lining, adding to its authentic character.

STYLING SUGGESTION
Style this piece layered with antique books, cut crystal, and warm leather. Equally compelling placed on a bar, desk, or within a curated collection of English sporting or military objects. Its scale makes it perfect for adding depth and interest without overwhelming a space.
