Meet "Chauncey", a wonderfully expressive vintage ceramic Wire Fox Terrier rendered in a classic standing pose with an alert expression and characteristic upturned tail. Finished in a glossy ivory glaze with warm chestnut brown and deep chocolate detailing, the piece has subtle crazing throughout that gives it the beautifully aged character we love in vintage ceramics. The sculpted coat, face and stance give this little terrier an especially charming presence without feeling overly precious.
This piece is part of the Martingale East Kennel Club collection. In support of a cause close to our hearts, $25 from its adoption will be donated to the Hilton Head Humane Association to help support animal welfare initiatives and the care of dogs in need.
CONDITION Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear and visible crazing to the glaze. No major chips or cracks observed.
