Vintage English Fox Hunt Panoramic Sporting Engravings in Gilt Frames — Set of Three

A wonderfully collected set of three beautifully small vintage English fox hunt engravings, each capturing a different moment across the countryside — riders in the field, hounds in pursuit, horses navigating the landscape, and even an early motorcar appearing alongside the hunt in one particularly charming scene. Sold to us as engravings, the works have the finely drawn, narrative quality associated with early 20th-century British sporting imagery.

Each long, narrow image is presented in a softly aged gilt frame with a beautifully textured neutral fabric mat. The unusually elongated proportions make the set especially handsome displayed vertically, where the three scenes read almost like chapters of the same hunt.

These have exactly the understated sporting character we look for at Martingale East: equestrian without feeling themed, traditional without being stuffy, and exceptionally easy to work into an English country, Ralph Lauren-inspired, hunt club, library, study, or collected gallery wall.

CONDITION
Very good vintage condition with minor age-related wear and patina consistent with age. Frames retain their warm, softly aged gilt finish. Not examined outside of frames / matting.
