An exceptionally handsome Japanese bone china serving platter created for Neiman Marcus, featuring an elaborate Imari-inspired botanical design in deep cobalt blue, persimmon orange, warm red, and gilt accents against a creamy white ground. The scalloped border is especially beautiful, with alternating floral reserves, delicate geometric detailing, and hand-applied gold highlights framing the central garden motif. At approximately 12 inches across, it has enough scale to make a statement displayed on a plate stand, layered into a collected china cabinet, or used for serving. The Neiman Marcus provenance gives this piece an added layer of distinction and makes it particularly well suited to the collected, old-world interiors we love at Martingale East.

WHY WE LOVE THIS
It has everything we look for in a tabletop piece: classic Imari influence, rich color, beautiful Japanese craftsmanship, and just enough gold to feel special without becoming fussy. Equally compelling displayed as an object or brought out for entertaining, it gives a room that layered, collected-over-time quality that feels right at home with blue-and-white porcelain, silver, mahogany and equestrian antiques.
