A wonderfully charming piece of English sporting history, this vintage Royal Worcester oversized breakfast cup and saucer comes from the maker’s collectible “Very Important Person” series. The Fox Hunt design is decorated with beautifully rendered horses, scarlet-coated riders, hounds and fox motifs in warm, painterly earth tones, finished with elegant gilt rims. Inside the cup, the wonderfully cheeky inscription reads “TO A VERY IMPORTANT PERSON.”
Larger and more substantial than a traditional teacup, this was designed as an oversized breakfast cup—a fabulous piece for morning coffee or tea, but equally compelling displayed among sporting art, silver trophies and other English country antiques.

Oversized cup measures approximately 2.75"H x 4.125" diameter. Saucer measures approximately 6.25" diameter and is similarly large.
