Vintage Samobor Hand-Cut Lead Crystal Biscuit Barrel, Yugoslavia

A substantial vintage hand-cut lead crystal biscuit barrel by Samobor, made in the former Yugoslavia. Beautifully weighted and exceptionally decorative, the barrel features deeply cut geometric diamond and lattice detailing that catches and refracts the light beautifully. The fitted crystal lid is finished with a large faceted knob, giving the piece an especially elegant, architectural presence. Original Samobor sticker remains intact, confirming its Yugoslavian manufacture.

Designed originally as a biscuit barrel, this versatile piece is equally striking used as a covered candy jar, bar accessory, vanity vessel, or simply displayed as sculptural crystal. Its generous scale and brilliant hand-cut surface make it particularly impressive in person.
