Vintage Sheridan Silver Engraved Warming Dish

A beautifully detailed vintage silverplate hot water warming dish by Sheridan Silver Co., designed to keep food warm at the table while serving. The oval form is elevated on four decorative feet and features a covered serving compartment surrounded by classic beaded trim. Intricate floral and foliate engraving wraps the domed lid, finished with an ornate beaded ring handle. A small side fill opening allows hot water to be added to the warming reservoir below. Elegant, substantial, and wonderfully decorative, this is the kind of old-school entertaining piece that looks just as good on display as it does in use.

CONDITION
